Oh Man.. You can get breast cancer too!

Well, at least that's what this articles is saying.

Some important points..
  1. Only a tiny fraction of breast cancers diagnosed — less than 1% — occur in men.

  2. Perhaps the surest risk factor — in both women and men — is family history.

  3. Survival rates for men and women are similar, but men are more likely to be diagnosed at a later stage. That's probably because women undergo regular screening.

hmmm.. gotta get in touch with my OWN breasts more now..

Sing K

Went Partyworld with some old school mates. Turn out better than wat I expect. Had a fun time. ha!

Family Gathering

Went to Sakae Suhi at the Pasir Ris NTUC resort with Dad, Big S and Small S. Think this is the first time Dad ate in Sakae Sushi. It has been awhile since we ate out as a family, and this time is different cos I get to treat them! Cool. Though the bill totalled up to be quite high, I thought it's worth it for the time spent. Too bad Ema wasn't in S'pore. Next time maybe, we'll bring Ema along.

。。惭愧呀!

Silent Witness

A man once suspected of killing his girlfriend left his hometown to become a lawyer, only to return to defend his best friend 28 years later, of a charge so similar to his. A very impactful story. Not really the same as the political novels like his Kilcannon stories, but no less thrilling and satisfying.

Richard described the scenes very well, so much so you can almost see it in your mind. Quite a number of sexual references, after I finished the book I actually felt a chill in myself.. Kinda scary if such people really exists in real life. Really sad for the main man too.

Mind yer own business

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

A book about the journey of a man, who harbour the dream of making it big as a busker. The book documents the things that happened to him in his journey and how it change him as a person. Not as hilarious as the back of the book suggested, but not as bad as I originally thought.

The Ouside Man

The story begins with a lawyer discovering the body of the wife of his friend/client. Through his investigation and pursue of the real murderer, he realised almost everyone in the town has his/her dark secrets, even those who are dearest to him.

The first half was quite slow, until halfway through the book when things starts to link. And link together it does, as things starts falling into place, you realised that the whole thing is the sick work of a psychotic dude. The book finally ended on a high. I love books that make me turned back to re-read parts that I missed out. This is one of it.
